Where else would I buy Fluid Film if I avoided malls? :p
Interesting! The old campaign #173 had a different wax-based CRC (Nuxodol 712am) for inside the frame, too. Not sure how similar it is to the factory cavity wax used in newer 3rd gen frames, which felt like candle wax when I installed my sliders.

I suggest talking to the dealer specifically on what the current process is like. Avoid the black external coating (which is also labeled as a wax) if they are still doing it.

Can get a lot more adventurous now that I have this installed today...

Not keeping the hook on the D-Ring though, in fact I won't be keeping the hook...

Still have to get a couple more spark plug looms to neaten up the wiring and make a bracket to hold the solenoid box, + install a breaker/disconnect for it.

Wound up the rope just with hand tension then took the truck upto a dead end street and tied off to a post.
Spooled the cable out and then put the truck in park and reeled it in.
Tested the wireless to and it works.

Worked well, nothing got hot or even warm.

I think almost 100' of rope on it is too much, with it neatly coiled under tension it rubs the cross-pieces when it gets to the outer wrap.
So I may cut 10 or 15' off the rope....

Now to figure out the mounting bracket, and order something to replace that hook. :)

And paint or replace that hawse.

I'm not too sure what this area is,
it's a 10 acre dead zone beside a conservation area, (but not part of the conservation area on the map).
and behind a light industrial zone.

No-private property or trespassing signs posted any where around it, nor any fencing either. :notsure:

Looks like others have roared around in the mud in there. Probably those Jeep guys... :infantry:

But I keep things relaxed when I tour about.
Don't want to draw attention, or piss anybody off...
and get the area blocked off and posted like so much of Southern Ontario.
    Pure stealth mode.

Lol no snowmobile trails in Hamilton...

Never driven a snowmobile trail in a 4x4, I have in a station wagon...surprised those smug snowmobilers... but that's another story... :rasta::mudding:

Put the truck in park you say? What is this mysterious park mode you speak of?

    Yep, love that trick.
But couldn't even do that as I was down to two zip ties. :anonymous:
And I used one to hold the one loom I had, to the center brace.

Too lazy to go to the shop to get more...

I still have to go in and do the bracket and shorten a couple of the wires anyways so was too lazy to make it OCD perfect today. :)

Not even ONE day goes by in 2020... and you are already :sawzall:...:thumbsup:

So which wrap you going with? Crest or Colgate whitening?

    Cut looks really good though!
Guess you've had so much practice you are a master at it now.

I guess your removing the snorkel, so you can cut more fender, and fit your 44's right?:boom:
