fog lights only when headlights are on

I noticed tonight that my fog lights only work when the headlights are on. Aren't they supposed to be on when the marker lights are on as well?

 

no they only work when your low beams are on. if you want them to be able to turn them on all the time look in the mods section for fog light mod.

 

yep...they only work with the headlights on,but there is a mod to fix that, and it only takes about 2 minutes to do....here is the link...

is it possible to mess it up cause i want to do the foglight mod but im afraid that i will mess up my electrical system in my truck

 

nah man...all it is is 2 small connections. very simple, yet very effective!!

 

I want it done but when i saw that you need to strip a wire and drill bit i just dont know if it would be something for me to do

 

all you need to do is get a small piece of 16 guage wire, put a female spade end on it, pull the relay, bend tab, put wire on the bent tab, plug relay back in, then use a splicer to hook the wire from the relay to the green wire. the drill bit is just to make a small hole for the wire to go thru to hide it and to keep the lid from pinching it. its real easy man.

 

yeah um that was like chinese to me haha, i would pay some one to do this for me because i have that stupid thing where i can turn the simplest tasks into a hard task lol

you want me to send you the piece of wire already made for it, then all you gotta do is pull and bend the relay,plug wire in and splice onto the green wire.
