    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Small steps are being made on @RobertsT4R

    Whiteline bushings done

Replaced the bushings in the auto shifter. Feels brand new now.

    Did the diff breather

And finally replaced the wiper blades

Still waiting for the Tcase drain plugs to arrive, to change the oil in it... need to grab some more 80w 90 tomorrow so we can change out the rear (for some reason I only have 2.5 quarts)

Also picked up a set of power/leather BMW 330i front seats yesterday

My truck got a little love too.

Had a mounting bracket, from Paranoid Fab, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with. When I ordered it, I asked them to not cut out the holes for the switches (to give me more options)

I had some magnets laying around (everyone loves playin with magnets). They were 1 inch round... so I drilled 1 inch holes in the bracket.

And mounted the magnets with some automotive goop (good stuff)

Then I cut me a piece of sheet metal and put it in the phone case of an old phone I had layin around.

Mounted the bracket in place of the ash tray... (now where the hell am I supposed to keep my pack of smokes?)

Then, via a bluetooth OBDii reader and the Torque App I can monitor my temps and other stuff.

    A little help

Anyone know a moderator? I have a thread about my rack install over a Diamondback cover and this tool of a Tacoma pro owner jumped on and and was just a little bit of a Richard, then just wouldn’t stop. See post #172 and on. Cluttering up the thread with crap

Funny. I bought a little storage container today to consolidate my rivnuts. Now I just need to find some practical (and probably some impractical) uses for them.

    Lmao! That's a hilarious coincidence!

I've used them for my snorkle, and mounting some brackets under the hood. Will probably replace the self taping screws I have my light bar brackets mounted with...

Bought it to install some @SpikerEng hood struts. Worked perfectly, got the brackets installed tonight... unfortunately the struts wont work until I figure out a way to re-mount the aux battery I have installed on the passenger side :(

The battery needs to move in about 2.5 inches. I have room. I'll just have to figure something out this weekend.

I used some big ones to attach my skid plate crossmember to the frame on my 1st gen.

I've been trying to do hood struts without buying a kit from Redline. Finding the correct lower bracket is proving to be a challenge. Considered using a rivnut and threaded stud.

The Spiker kit is good stuff... cheaper than Redline, and I'd say every bit as good quality. They have 3rd Gen kits now... (assuming for your 3rd Gen)

Sorry about the aux battery issue, that can happen depending on installation. Could you share a photo of the battery install?

Don't do it :). We've tried it in prototyping, a single rivnut can't handle the bending loads from the compressed strut.

Totally 100% not your fault. Everything would fit fine if the battery wasn't there. And I'll be able to move the battery inboard just a bit... everything should clear. Just didn't have time to do it tonight. lol

    Here's my battery set up.
