Wasn't sure if your question was tied into the headlights (even possible implication of variants for other trims) as well and it was easy enough to simply cover that in the post. Apologies if any offense was taken.

This is new to me and I do not know if this shows up as a response to someone else or as a separate question, which I do have a question and am wondering if anyone else knows something about this. It's about Entune, on the dash, if I plug in the USB with file folders by artist name and in each file folder several mp3 songs, on the display screen it only shows the names of all the songs in huge long lists, not the file folders. Is this normal or is there an adjustment to have it show file folders, to select by folder, then play songs within the folders?

I had a Subaru Forester and that used to show me file folders by name and then once picking a folder, by name, it would let me play tracks only in that folder, not everything all listed hundreds of songs long w/o organized by file folder, like on the Entune radio. That is why I ask, because the Tacoma is only at 302 miles new still and I set up the USB drives by folder names because of the previous vehicle.

I looked for adjustments on the menu system but have not found anything or in the instruction manual.

Welcome to the forum from Eastern North Carolina.

The information IS in the manual, but well buried.

    Maybe this will help. :fingerscrossed:

    I share your pain.

All my music is organized by folders as well, and when I first found that Entune had no idea what to do with a folder, it was very frustrating. I eventually downloaded the 'Mp3tag' app, and it allowed me to change/organize each songs 'tags' so that my music now sorts in a way that I can live with, given Entune's limitations. It is a tedious process, but it worked for me.

Good luck, and welcome to TacomaWorld............................Frank

For #56, is this only if you have the Entune system? I upgraded to a Kenwood head unit which does not show any Toyota vehicle settings/customization options?

I'll post this in here.....I suppose it is a trick :

(CNN) If you drive a Toyota, you might want to read on.

Toyota is recalling nearly 700,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the US because of issues with the fuel pumps. The pumps can stop operating, the company said, leading to engine failure.
"If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash," the company said.
Toyota says it's investigating the issue. When it comes up with a solution, it'll notify owners by mail by mid-March.
The vehicles under the recall are:
    • 2018-2019 Model Year Lexus LS 500, LC 500, RC 350, RC 300, GS 350, IS 300, ES 350, LX 570, GX 460, and RX 350
    • certain 2019 Model Year Lexus NX 300, RX 350L, and GS 300
    • certain 2018-2019 Model Year Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra
    • certain 2019 Model Year Toyota Avalon and Corolla

    Has anyone tried this?

Lower All Windows Instantly: One of the more common hidden functions on many of today’s key fobs is the ability to roll down all the windows and open the sunroof at the same time by pressing a single button. It's handy, and it helps cool off the car on a hot summer day. It's not often labeled on the fob, though, so the owner needs to know the button sequence. On most cars that have the feature, it’s accomplished by pressing the unlock button on the key fob once, then pressing it again (within 10 seconds) and holding it down until all the windows are opened.

Depending on your front license plate frame, and if you have the Pro grill mod with sensor - don't let snow and ice build on top of plate frame. It will block the the sensor and throw the light (collision warning off)
