If at first you don't succeed........
If someone else can do it so can you, doubt they succeeded on their first try.

Yeah that is a 10% improvement in mpg over the course of one week of normal driving. I’m just resigned to the fact I won’t ever get the sticker 18/22 mpg the sticker had on it. I’ve tried my best to just see if I could reach it. I would have bought a full size truck if I had known it would be getting full size truck mpg

How much of a pain was the removal and reinstall? I painted mine too (with duplicolor bed liner) , but I masked off my whole truck. I want to put on another coat. Thanks

I posted this over in the SR thread but figured I would post it here too.

Installed the Curt 2" trailer hitch this weekend. I was going to do a write up of the installation but this video explains the whole process well enough. https://www.etrailer.com/tv-install-trailer-hitch-2017-toyota-tacoma-c13264.aspx

Honestly though, install was a pain in the d*ck. If you don't have a lift then having two people will definitely make your life easier. Trying to get the bolt through the plate and out the hole in the tubing was near impossible (2:20 on the video). It took me 30-40min and lots of cursing to get them through. But definitely worth it in the end.

It was actually super quick! I was worried at first but I think I did it in an hr, and the longest part was letting the epoxy set lol

Picked up a used Tyger tonneau cover last night and install in about 20 minutes. Great condition and for less than 50% off of Amazon’s asking price, I couldn’t pass it up. Curious on how my MPG’s will be affected now after removing my rtt/bed bars and Installing this.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I have a 2018 TRD Sport grill and both a chrome and black bezel that I no longer need and will sell. All pieces in great shape. Added the Pro grill last week. Anyone?
