Yeah it was bad right after it started raining. Guess its been a while since last time we got some. The sideways action is no fun, mine was doing the same in 3rd gear. Truetrac made it even worse

Ohhhh! No sir, no stickers on mine. There is a DCSB timberland mica with a camper in kerrville though. Seen the guy a few times around town. He's friendly, always throws a wave. Has an ARB bumper as well

I think it’s less, like 21 ft a minute. But it’ll have over 2,000 ftlbs of torque at idle.

    Hell yes, I’m pretty excited
I need to start getting the rest of the parts together.

Hey gear grinders, got any recommendations for a TOB and clutch kit? I had looked into URD a few weeks back and I think I’d lean towards their stage II, anyone else I should look at?

Not sure how much youre looking to spend, but the hydro bearing that clutchmasters makes seems to be making folks happy. If you want cheaper, id go with Koyo, or whatever the OEM japanese made one is. Do you have the chirp? Another good option would be the URD sleeve kit with the larger tob to prevent the quill from wearing unevenly

I can get on board with that! I need to figure out some wiring so i dont need to have the Actuator hanging there anymore. Have it ghetto secured with bailing wire so that i can still shift in and out of 4wd. After doing the ADD delete, it just blinked the whole way home with the actuator not plugged in. Ill bet there is info in the crawl box thread about that

also, i liked my URD stage 3 clutch, but i think its near the end of its life. Clutch is engaging near the top of the pedal throw.. ive had it on about 18k but every bit of that ive been hard on it so it doesnt surprise me that its tired. If youre not going forced induction at any point, id personally go with something similar to stock or just one step up for better longevity. Ill probably be throwing another URD in when the time comes but i think ill do the 3+. The stage 3 has been very streetable, even with the lightweight flywheel. Id imagine the stage 2 would be a nice step up for a little grabbier clutch vs the stocker for a n/a truck. I dont really care much for how the stock clutch slips alot during engagement/while shifting. I like something that grabs when you release the pedal.

I am well beyond a “chirp”, I have a full time songbird down there.

And it’s gotten worse since I shot that.

I’ll likely do the URD sleeve. Looking up the hydro bearing now

In! Dude, thanks for that! I was on the fence but $100 off makes it only slightly more expensive than the URD kit.

Speaking of, I’ll have to wait for the URD stage two to come back in stock, I liked what I read. Still window shopping others.
