I though I remember seeing a pic of the can. It really does taste bad, like the "fruit" has spoiled.

What bushing is in it now and how long did it go before it started clunking? You going with a new poly bush? I'm gonna have to start making some decisions here in next couple months on my taco suspension. I'm hopeful I only have to do it once, why I ask you so much about it. :D
Thanks for humoring me, you know I value your opinion and experience

OEM Rubber is what you want. Buy poly if you dont want to redo the job but can live with squeaks and pops.

I had to step away from it in shock and awe after my jaw dropped ...... I was shocked because creating and acting out funny ass hypothetical situations and scenarios and stories is exactly what my best friends and us did. I was like...... Is this one of my boys from when I grew up? Or is it someone that knows me outside of here and is messing with me doing same stuff we do/did?

Okay I kinda figured. Didn't know if we've found anything else yet. I am really curious about the teflon tape 'permanent' fix that some talk about. I guess I wonder of anyone has done the teflon tape thing correctly AND still got squeaks and creaks afterward.... I'll never forget the greasable poly bushings sounds from my old Nissan pickup..... I was 25, I didn't know any better:D

My bestfriend Jason and I would spend a good half hour straight doing that kind of shit

We'd take someone we barely knew or met, and go on about their life, backstory, and their dirty fling or cheating husband, neglected child :rofl::rofl:

It'd just happen out of nowhere maybe once or twice a week

My damage assessment was scheduled for 1030. Told it would take 30 mins. Came back at 12 and it wasn't done. Was BSing with the 2 older ladies in the waiting area and they asked how long it was supposed to take. I started to talk about how mine wasn't done in the time quoted and an estimator heard and came out of his office and said let's go look now.

Estimator was giving me lip about not washing my truck beforehand.

I wasn't aware that it would be an issue or that they wouldn't be able to wash it either.

I don't think I want this place to fix my truck

Poly bushings are a pretty tight fit. I have no clue how anything other than lube would work. The tape would just slide up the bushing upon install.

Oh man yeah and we'd talk the whole thing out too! It'd get to the point where I/we would hear months later and it's someone telling us the story that we came up with:rofl:
Good old Mike. :D I need to see wtf he's up to
We wanted to be skit writers(or actors:cool::D) for like a SNL kinda thing or something.
Mike definitely wasn't a mechanical type. I did all that stuff with a different homie group.
Oh shit, just remembered Mike and I in my FJ40 on 35s and soft top, I thought I was cool af, but I memba in middle of winter me and Mike driving an hour and a half to Seattle to go clubbing on 80s night. that was a long noisy uncomfortable drive but I loved it in the 40:cool:the name of club was Polyesters lmaooooo. Wonder if that place is still there?

Well I just placed my order from Rock Auto. I'm going to keep my factory one and find somewhere to have it rebuilt. I replaced the brushes in mine about three years ago. The issue I'm hoping to assist with is the low idle when the headlights are turned on. Running down the road there isn't an issue. It's just while idling in traffic, etc.
I'm not kidding, I can turn on my headlights and it's hard to tell if you turned on your lights or the ac. Stock headlights by the way, and I've done the big three upgrade (4 gauge).

Sounds like might have some resistance building up in some of the connections in that circuit maybe. While truck is at idle and lights are on and dim like you say, put a meter on the battery posts and see what voltage you get. Could have voltage drop somewhere
