    Toyota's are awesome
You will have to get your alignment re-done after lifting your vehicle.

Kings are great! There are also a lot of different manufacturing companies out there that are just as good as King!
Every product has its own purpose!

I'm trying to figure out what size tire I can run with the lift and wheels I just bought. I would love to be able to run 285/70-17 ko2's, but I see so much conflicting information. I would like to not have to do the CMC. Can you help clarify for me @Toytec Lifts ?
    Here is what I have:
    2019 DCLB TRD OR
Toytec Boss with Aluma Series Coilovers, rear AAL.
    Icon Tubular Delta Joint UCA
    Icon Rebound Wheels - 17 x 8.5, 4.75" backspace

Anyone know if i'll have problems with alignment and trying to get to stock alignment with a 4" BDS lift kit for a 2WD tacoma?
Or will I have to get control arms? or other parts that will further adjust the suspension for alignment?

I really want to be able to lift my 3rd gen tacoma with the 4" lift kit and I would like to be able to get alignment near spec.

So it would be impossible getting a feather within stock specs in alignment without control arms?

    thanks again for the help!

The ideal lift for 2wd is a spindle lift that’ll keep all your stock suspension geometry the same. You just need a simple CB spacer for the rear. Check out the maxtrac thread for more info https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-maxtrac-spindles.416793/

FYI, for what it's worth, not sure what the advantage is or reasoning behind getting new UCA's, but I did the Maxtrac + Bilstein 6.5" lift and used my stock UCA's. 2 years later no issues whatsoever and my alignment is on point. Haven't had to touch it....

Hmmm..... Gona doubt that, factory UCAs aren't good for much past 2.5", much less 6.5".... Might wanna get your CV boots looked at too. I'll be really impressed if that much lift hasn't caused problems.... Plus a diff drop bracket.

@keonigt was referring to lifting a 2WD, CV joints or diff drop not an issue.

TW family, Can someone please guide me and steer me into the right direction?

I have a set of wheels on order 17x8.5 -20 with 265/70/17 tires. From those who have installed this setup said to be rubbing. One member had King's installed and adjusted to normal setting and is rubbing a bit.

I was planning to keep the stock suspension but now considering getting the Bilstein 6112s front and 5100 rears. I was wondering what else I will need to purchase or do? Upper Control Arms, Add A Leafs, ETC? I am new to lifting and used to lowering cars. Thank you for all your response.

If you check out toyteclifts.com they've got some great package deals that have everything you need for various full suspensions, including the ability to customize a few things based on your needs. Great descriptions about what components do and why you might use one thing vs another.

    Ideally / minimally...
How much down travel/ droop, should a Tacoma have left after a lift?
    Front and Rear?

I hope this is the right section. I live in Thailand and have a 2016 Toyota Hilux crew cab 4x4 2.8l diesel truck. Before I moved here for work I worked with Toytec for a lift kit which I brought over (Build thread here: Tacomaworld.com/threads/hilux-revo-2016-build.443364/ ).

I have the Toytec Boss 2.5 set up on it and it works perfect. However with all these trucks they end up with the front end rake down and I would like to level it out. after measuring it all out I am considering the 3" leveling spacer which is about exactly what I need to level the truck.

Can anyone offer inputs/comments/pros/cons? If there is a thread all about it let me know, I wasn't able to find one.

    Thanks
