Hi guys! New to this forum but I desperately need help. I recently bought 4' maxtrac spindles for my taco. I have 2' spacers on with bilstein 5100 shocks & Pro Comp UCA's. Putting spacers on was the worst decision ever. Not even the pro comp UCA's helped much. But I just got these max trac spindles in hopes of alleviating the stress on the ball joint & smoother ride. My big question is can I install these spindles without having to keep the spacers because I definitely want the spacers to go. Can I take the spacers off & just have the spindles? Attached is a photo to better explain what my issue is. I'm hoping I can take off the spacers & just have the spindles but any advice helps! Thanks

Replace the stock spindle with the Maxtrac for a 4" lift and remove that god awful spacer. You can keep the 5100's set at the lowest setting or bump it up a couple notches for additional lift but I say 4" is plenty. Search this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/maxtrac-spindle-lift-for-2nd-gen-prerunners.203889/ for further details or ask your specific questions there. A lot of those guys are very knowledgable and helpful. Good luck with whatever route you choose

Appreciate your honesty & thanks for replying! I really needed this. Can't wait to take that dumb puck out of there & install the spindles. Those things really degrade Tacoma's & suspensions in general. Will do! I love seeing & hearing about other taco builds. This is quite useful.

Update: just installed the spindles & the ride is a lot more comfortable without those spacers. Just need an alignment.. tires are making a loud noise & my wheel is all over the place. Should this fix the problem?
