Installed the Fender flares but no cover on the trim yet Glue some of the broken tabs from the rear flares gonna install them this week when the clips arrive Also the trim liners

Nice trimming. Are you putting the edge guard on the flares and fenders?

 

Finished installing the new Pioneer head unit today. It wasn't that hard except for splicing the wires properly.

 

Finally got the new wheels and tires on. Got the wheels for free. Tires of cooper AT3s in 265/70/17.

 

Which model is that? I installed the NEX 1440 in mine after Black Friday. I love the sound and quality of the unit.

 

I used a heat gun on the low setting just enough to warm the protector. Then peeled it off. I used a microfiber towel and some elbow grease to clean the glue that was left behind. I heated the glue up a little bit before scrubbing with the towel. It was a very easy process.

What kind of edge guard sir?

 

It’s a self adhesive push on guard many here have used it whe doing this fender trim and there is a member who sells a higher quality one than the auto parts store @lao8dog knows who he is.

Hammer lock trim we used it all the time at Caterpillar good stuff

 

Did you do your hood matte black to counter balance the roof light bar glare?

 

No I bought an after market hood from certafit and painted it black, it does help with lots of glare.

 

Expanding foam will eventually squeak exactly like styrofoam rubbing styrofoam.

 

Rubbing styrofoam drives me nuts
