I ordered the rotors and pads from Amazon, they dropped to $150 for the set, then ordered coated calipers from RockAuto, and the bigger dust shields from one of the dealerships which sells discounted online..

Nice rig..when I lived in Va (culpeper for 20 yrs) I got crap from inspector about the plate..heres a ez move if you do....Mag lite wall mount for D cell flashlite....Ya it was a jeep

I ordered the short-nipple version today. Looking forward to changing my own oil and filter again.

 

Got my center console, shifter knob, & climate control panel painted and wrapped.
Wrapping DEFINITELY gets easier the more you do it and you HAVE to use a heat gun to get it to lay right and conform to the shape. Watched a couple YouTube videos for tips that were really helpful.

Got a little touch-up to do on it but happy with the way it came out. Now still waiting for the matching seat covers to be delivered

 

I love the guy doesn’t follow the normal suggested maintenance intervals on oil changes and spark plugs

I did run into two 3rd gen Tacomas at the yard waste area of the dump today.

 

You can't load brush into your sports car it's not designed for that lol

 

If my skid plates rip off during off-roading to expose this little valve to danger I have much bigger problems...

Hard to take a picture of it with out a second person, but they are a ton brighter than what I was previously running. I doubt they will last long though

 

I use the same stuff, just pried the leafs apart and sprayed away. Since it applies like spray paint I put cardboard as a back stop or you'll coat all sorts of stuff under the truck.

I got nearly a year of silence, it's due for another coat but I'm debating new springs so I keep putting it off lol

 

I have had my center console wrapped for a year and change it will start to bubble if you are in hot climate. I'm in Va and we have moderate and its already bubbling due to the summer. kinda pissed.

 

I thought the same thing. Didn't change the plugs until after 500k miles if I remember correctly. I was all worried when I changed them at 60k.

 

Finally installed the A/C condenser relocate tube that I got in a package deal from @Blais03 (here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...kits-30-free-shipping-or-free-install.641193/ ) - Haven't done the diff relocate yet, still waiting for it to be a little bit warmer. I'll change the diff breather the same time I change the oil in the diff.

 

I changed mine at 140,000 miles. I do try to change my oil around the 7000 mile mark.

 

Gotta love this.. Dust shields arrived today, no plastic bags, not even a sheet of tissue paper between the two pieces of metal. Coating scratched up in a bunch of places(which I can paint, no biggie), one was bent, but the kicker is all the damn paper stickers that just shred when you try to remove them..
