Ok so I have a 2019 off road ... I have 265/75/16 Duratracs on my stock wheels and I have the spider trax 1.25 spacers ... I bought some black decals to cover the silver color on the stock rims to see how I’d like a black rim (and I do like it) ,so I was going to get the stock rims powder coated for $500 that’s mounted & balanced back on ...
    so here’s the question(s),
Is there a rim size & cool style that’s out there for $500 or less that can eliminate the spacer “I’d like to keep the poke” or should I powder coat ?
    Appreciate it

You can’t do any worse then us with a google search but for $500 your options will be minimal.

You will not find a set of rims that match the quality of the factory rims for $500. If you like the look, then powder coat away.

Yes there is. Level 8 mark 6 wheels would be less than $500.

edited to say they would be $500 even from discount tire

Cool is subjective, for me its Volk, Advan, Forgelines, BBS, HRE, and work wheels. But at that price ceiling, I say just paint your current wheels and save till you find a set you like.

I just want to add, rims to me are a personal thing. I am very picky about rims and find I prefer factory over most aftermarket rims. I really dislike the beadlock style rims! For my truck I might consider Method Racing but they are pricey. You can look around but if you are happy with what you see on your truck now, then that's what matters.

Spend what you need to get rid of those spacers, you're truck is WAY too nice to use spacers. Keep in mind you can sell your stock wheels and those spacers for some cash.

YES! You can get close to $500 - especially if you keep an eye out for sales. Don’t listen to the naysayers. I picked up this set from tire rack for right around $500. Motegi MR149 MT6. They also make a sweet 5 spoke wheel for Toyota’s.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Don't forget, if you buy a new set of wheels you can sell yours to offset some of the cost. :notsure:

This one is a no brainer to me. Keep the OEM wheels and powder coat them.

What about FJ Steelies? I think the offset is a little more aggressive than the factory Tacoma wheels. They are cheap and look cool in a retro sort of way.

Old man, they are called wheels, not rims. The rim is a part of the wheel. :D Ditch the spidertrax. Get wheels that fit. Spacers add another point of failure in a place that you don't want a failure. You should be able to get wheels in your budget. You can probably find used ones if you scan the online markets like facebook and craiglist. You can probably get new wheels for your $500 budget, but you will have a hard time keeping it under $500 with new lugnuts, tpms sensor swap, and mounting and balancing. You are probably more in the $600 range.
