Looks nothing like KROWN, which is black and oily. KROWN is the best, been using it for decades, proof is in the pudding.

There is only one way to beat rust. Read my signature....

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
when i had my new front diff put in (per the tsb) they want me to come back in the next month to have my frame done. from what i saw- all the 2020s have it done, and it looks like it would actually work they way they did it this time. I have to take my sliders off before they do it, he said i could leave them on, but they could do a better job with them off. they need a post winter clean up anyways.

    These are good points.
But, if the material were petroleum based instead, then it may not harden and acts as an insulator and helps mitigate further rust. “ almost” nothing stops iron from its incessant jury to become iron oxide. But, we can slow it down significantly. This is why spaying oil based products, even on rusted areas, helps a lot. Will it wash away ? Eventually yes. That’s why rust mitigation is really a periodic endeavor.

Anyone who was in the navy and stationed on a “ tin can”, knows fighting rust is a continual process.

If the motor home was driven over the same roads in the rust belt every day of every year like a truck through the entire winter, I would be surprised if it lasted any longer then a truck frame......well, at least something not a Taco.

In the meantime, you could always slide under the truck and literally, paint the rusted exposed areas with red wheel bearing grease using a foam brush.

It it is grease and a petro or biodegradable substitute based product, it’s well worth it.

I use some stuff called “Corrosion Stop” from PB Blaster. It’s grease but is thin so it sprays well. $4-6 a can and I used 2 on my Tacoma. I sprayed the frame, axles, drive shaft, and everywhere I saw rust forming on used Tacoma’s. Yes, I crawled under used 3rd gen Tacoma’s to see where the rust starts. It isn’t permanent but is thicker than oil so it sticks well and lasts. I’ve had great luck using it on areas that already started rusting as well. Stuff like this is why you’re lucky if you buy a used car I used to own, I treat everything like a priceless Ferrari. Been using this stuff ever since I bought two new Wranglers, aka the 4wd Rust Buckets.

2019 models have the lower portion seam sealed. I'd rather have them wax flooded.

I'm getting ready to have our Toyota sister-store (I'm a Honda parts manager) do this to my '17 TRD Sport. Until two years ago I worked at our Toyota store for 13 years so I'm friends with the tech that does this job and the solution they use is actually a bees wax based formula. As terrible as it looks it is supposed to be oozing out everywhere or they didn't do a good job. Kinda like packing a wheel bearing until the clean grease oozes out the other side. I plan to wipe down the bulky areas of ooze with a rag and spread it on the outside of the frame wherever possible before it fully hardens.
