I'm fine with that, just not in a truck (at this point in the life cycle of the tech.). In 10 years maybe.

 

What are the chances of a electric Tundra with a gas or diesel range extender? Not good I'm guessing

 

Some of the OEMs are going with 48V power for superchargers. Standard NA engine with a bit of boost on demand. I think the overall performance bump is limited, but mileage is increased somewhat too.

 

I would love one of those. Just hope they wouldnt make it look ugly like Ford did with the Electric Mustang.

 

To celebrate 2.0 Im getting the OVTune headers installed and the truck detailed next week. Please Mat, save us from the torture of poor Toyota programming!

33” Tires, 4.88 gears, DD Full Exhaust, OVTune Headers, check, check, and check. Just need the 2.0 tune to make it perfect.

 

Maybe a dumb question but if the catted big mouth dump pipes are always sold out then how do we get on the list to order? Or not?

 

You order then when they are back in stock. He stopped with preorders cuz people complained when they took a while to build and ship..
