Lift kits are honestly pretty low skill labor. Anyone who can turn a bolt can do it.

So does Jiffy Lube and I wouldn't let them touch my rig if oil changes were free

totally agree on doing it yourself if you have some space...did mine in a borrowed garage with minimal tools and I'm no rocket scientist..took about 5 hours if i remember right...not bad for a first try..lots of online videos.

Thanks for input, i might go for it this weekend and do it myself. Some local shops want up to $1100 to do it. It seems a little much.

The UCA will seem intimidating. Just use some channel locks to bend the inner fender liner out and use a hammer and long screwdriver/punch to push the bolt out.

    Watch YouTube.

$1100?? Hard pass. You’re getting ripped off. I know members here in SoCal that’ll do the install under $500

Do it yourself. If you have the tools. YouTube and Tacomaworld will get you through it with ease. It’s soooo easy on these trucks!

Post pics when you’re done.

it’s also a really good way to learn about the suspension in your truck so you’ll be able to fix things as well as figure out issues that may arise.
