    Has anyone connected a garage door opener to one of these switches? We've had a few car break-ins in my area where the thieves went after the garage door opener. Since my truck lives outside, I'd like to connect my garage door opener through one of these switches and ideally have it powered only when the truck is on so that no one could gain access to my garage just by smashing a window on the Taco. Thoughts?

    Air On Board used to offer a momentary garage door switch in the narrower Toyota style. I can't seem to find it on their website anymore though.

    I'm looking at that same website now but not having any luck. I found a good write-up that answered my question. Looks like I know what my next project is going to be. I'd like to find that switch though...

    Did anyone else seems to have a small gap with the call raised panel on the own trim peice? It's a small gap but a gap non the less, perhaps it was just operator error?

    No gaps on mine, but then again mine isn’t from CaliRaised. I bought mine before they even sold theirs.

    Fortunately my remote ran off 12 volts so I hard wired it into the truck (no changing batteries). Soldered wires to the circuit board switch connections out to the panel switch. The most amazing thing was after installing the remote permanently it doubled the range!

    Reference the first post. It says that you can pop it out using a trim tool. If you research on YouTube, there should be some videos I would think. I'm not ready for this yet, so I haven't looked.
