    Hi Everyone,

I've been researching the forum a lot about headlights.

I really like the look of the Morimoto XB's but have constantly heard about their lackluster high beams.

Is there anything that looks cool with the sequential turn signal like the Morimotos but has better lighting?

I know some people won’t agree but I have no issues with the XBs high beam, for me it shoots plenty far down road. As far as other options for LED lights I think that’s currently limited to alpharex or the optional 2020 Toyota ones. Can’t speak to their performance though.

In use. Not scientific but as the thread says, no one had posted anything like that up so it was my offering.

I should have taken some of the housings with the low and highs actually on, derp. Maybe tonight.

Oh yeah, all oem leds are sequential, not just the pro version. Toyota never said it and I couldn't find the answer until I picked mine up in December. I was pleasantly surprised.

You could always do a high quality retro fit and out perform any aftermarket lighting. But that’s big $$

If you already have the halogen projectors and are handy, I vote a proper retrofit. Like anchovy said, itll outperform anything aftermarket and likely even the OEM LEDs. The cost of oem leds when done as an aftermarket mod are as much as an awesome retrofit, there's that.

If you're not handy, just get some OEMs and an adapter harness and call it a night.

    Damn that's a nice beam.

OP you should consider the 2020 LED lights as well.

You mean the OEM LED lights that come as an upgrade and usually stock on the TRD Pro?

Kustom 54 Lighting and their AB6 HIDs. I picked a set up a few months back and would highly recommend them. The output is significantly better than OEM (duh, HIDs) and I really like them cosmetically. Especially the sequential turn signals.4663D29A-50AF-4CE3-AE50-5FCF4713D167.jpg

HID retro fits are the way to go. A lot of people use the Lexus RX350 HID projector for it. There’s people on the site that do it as a side hustle. @no vtec 4me is one

Another thought about doing a proper xenon retro, and this may sound anecdotal, but I very much prefer a warm (4300-4500°K) xenon in the rain over LED. (Theres science that makes sense of all that.)
