Has anyone taken apart the pro headlights and have pictures of the "TRD" "PRO" section after the headlights have been opened up?

I'm thinking about making a replacement insert for the "TRD"/ "PRO" section.

I have been thinking about it as well. It bothers me a little more than I thought it would. I have approached some of the merchants here to see if they're interested in making a replacement, but no luck. This mod would not have much demand, so I doubt any merchant would invest time in it. I plan to open my original pair of headlights to do the bhlm. If it goes well I may try to open my LED's to either replace the TRD and PRO chrome plates or just remove them.

So far the only person I know opened them is @MESO . Maybe he took some pictures of the plates?

I agree, probably wouldn't be much demand but it would also be a super simple part to make/relatively easy.

The ones Meso did weren't the pro's but he still made some inserts for them. If I get around to it soon I'll be sure to post up some pics.

AFAIK the pros are the same(back lighting) just have the bezel insert with the letters. Non pro are just open exposing the running light reflector. I basically made the same thing but not chrome and in amber acrylic.

Thanks for sharing Meso, did you ever get a chance to see how just the amber acrylic lens looked before you put the black over it?

you might get @no vetec 4me to do it. Kevin has his own thread where he overhauls the old headlights at https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/retrofit-and-bhlm-headlights.565466/

Does this mean the Auto High Beams work and auto lights in general work as OEM? Thank you.

Great! I will be ordering these and the harness within the next few months. Pricey, but they look sweet.

    None as of yet.
Can someone please help me out and let me know the proper way to connect these last 4 connectors?

I'm just not trying to short circuit anything :)

Can anyone confirm the part # ending in 4290 does have sequential signals?

The description on Toyota’s parts website says they don’t.

    TIA
