If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
If you're in the Olympia Area, specifically around Olympia High School:

***Please be on the lookout for a Silver 1st Gen ('01-'04) with front-end damage***

My Mom had her little Forester t-boned by a hit & run driver Saturday night (right before midnight, Sunday) where it was parked outside their house. Luckily, she was not in the vehicle and no one was injured, but the POS that hit her just took off.

Based on the neighbor's description and pieces left behind from the suspect's vehicle, I believe it to be a Silver 1st Gen ('01-'04) that hit her and drove off. Neighbors that saw the vehicle driving away think it is a crew or double-cab.

    The Damage:

    SUSPECT VEHICLE INFO:

The "Washer Fluid' cap left behind matches that of a 1st Gen:

There is an open case with the Olympia PD. Please PM me with any info., tips, or sightings to be relayed to the PD.

Wow, glad to hear no one was in the car. The amount of front end damage that caused that will make it hard to hide.

Yes - very fortunate no one was in the car.

It is unlikely the suspect is out driving it as-is, but if they're stupid and brazen enough to leave the scene, they may just be stupid enough to keep driving it around.

Just hoping to get keep some other eyes peeled in the area.

Be sure to look closely at the side of your mom's car. Sometimes the front license plate will leave an impression on the paint. My brother and I actually caught a hit and run driver when they fled the scene and you could read the plate impression on my brother's bumper.

Great idea and advice! I haven't seen the scene in-person, but I'll have my brother check it out.

Post an ad on the local CL site, offering cheap 1st gen (silver) front end parts. See if anyone responds. :D
