Wiring question.....insert all your jokes here...
Best systems for clean wiring setups under the hood mainly looking for fuse blocks/bus bars so that it's easy to hook everything up down the road and not look like a bag of wieners coming off my battery. No questions about running switches, I pretty well know where everyone stands on that lol either sPOD or Switchpro

I'm curious as well. Wouldn't mind getting something set up for easy hook ups while I don't have a mess of wires

Don’t got the Spod and Switch Pro Cash. I went to work on my garbage with a cheap S-Tech 6 switch system. Teamed it up with a home brew under the hood system.

Do it right the first time. No need for a fuse block or bus bar.

switch pro 9100 (order depinned for ease of install)
SDHQ interior mount (mounts in the worthless hole behind shifter)
SDHQ under hood mount (in front of battery)
SDHQ Terminal blocks (makes everything pretty)

I feel you on the switchpro cash, looking at something similar to yours on Amazon but haven't bit the bullet yet.

Know of anything that wont cost almost $700? Lol. I definitely like the mounting of the control panel in the spot behind the shifter and the mounting location of the controller in front of the battery, not sure I like the style of the terminal blocks though or the price of the switchpro system even though I know it's the best. Just spent all my money getting the compressor I just installed lol

It’s only $600 (or less) for the switch pro and mounts ;) the last switch pro I bought was $525 shipped.

It’s expensive, no argument. I’ve done it both ways and for the ease of installation, compactness of the system, simplicity, features and customization options, it’s well worth it IMO. It’s much more than just some switches.

I use the trigger wires ALL the time. And master switch control.

Haha its 549 on SDHQ right now with free shipping, and the panel mount is 30 and the mounting plate in front of the battery is 25 (terminal leads were like 60 or 70), which agreed for its capability is completely worth it but it's going to be a while til I can afford something like that. How is yours set up just out of curiosity? I see all of these companies have 8 switch panels and I cant imagine needing more than 4 maybe 6 even long term.

I don’t have a lot in the tundra yet, I just put it in last fall right before RMOR
Switch 1 - rigid dually SS pro ditch lights
Switch 8 - rigid SR40 behind the grille

switch 8 is configured as a master switch so it controls both switch 8 and switch 1 (on and off)

ive got the trigger wire connected to the high beams which I have trigger switch 1 & 8

    on the Tacoma
Switch 1 - rigid SR30 below the grille
Switch 2 - rigid dually SS ditch lights
Switch 3 - amber rigid SR30 Behind the grill
    Switch 4 - raptor lights
Switch 5 - dust lights (adding soon)
    Switch 6 -
Switch 7 - outlet for fridge power
Switch 8 - onboard air? tbd

Trigger wire connected to high beams programmed to switch 2

switch 4 powers on ignition. Also configured for 2 press flash to use as hazards

    switch 1 & 2 configured for 2 press strobe

I think 1 is set up as master control with switch 2

Everything shuts down with ignition except fridge power. Memory is disabled so if they are on and ignition is cycled, they’ll be off

I didn’t think I’d ever use 8 in my Tacoma but I’m starting to get close.

tundra will be getting some more stuff. Currently pondering chase lights, lights in the habitat, camp lights, water system, lockers

Everything can also be controlled via Bluetooth and the app which comes in handy sometimes at camp

If you have on board air that’s one and air lockers are 2 more. You can set those up as master switches so you hit the locker button and it also kicks on the compressor.

Here’s an overview of the 8100. Apparently they don’t have an updated one for the 9100.

First lighting I installed was connected directly to the battery and if you left it on, it wasn’t shutting off until the battery was dead. Which would be real bad in the back county. It also makes a mess having that spaghetti off the battery.

I primarily bought it initially for ease of install and being ignition switched so I didn’t leave something on accidentally and kill my battery. I added it when I put on the ditch lights in addition to the SR30. It was quickly evident I should have done it from the start. Since then I’ve slowly added more stuff and it makes most things a 5 minute job now.

After a while I got into configuring triggers, master control, flash / strobe, output dimming, power up settings, and the other stuff. Trigger control and ignition control are probably my favorite and most used things.
