None of that is needed. Just clean the surface really well, use plenty of junk mail newspaper ads to protect from over spray. I did mine a year ago and it's holding up really well. Check my build thread for photos.

Thanks! I was trying to be delicate....I usually am only on here while at work, but with all that's going on, I've not been at work as much. I've gotta keep up better while I'm bored at home!

I just about finished up the jump seat flooring. I wasn’t very comfortable having the boards and Dewalt cases float around in the event of a roll over. So I stripped the jump seats and repurposed the hinges to manage the plywood boards.

Ran er pretty close to dry. Wonder if that distance to empty is when it will shut down or if there is a bit of reserve.

Thanks for your products, I had forgotten who I bought them from! Well made and obviously and easy install, just time has been at a premium to get anything truck related accomplished. Now working remotely, I can actually sneak some time in here and there to get a few small jobs done. Still have atleast a half dozen others waiting in the wing!

So I have a Tacoma which has a 21 gallon gas tank on it. Let's give a gallon in the lines so that makes 22 gallons. So why does my distance to empty say 300 miles when it should say 400-440 miles until empty, when full, assuming the average mileage of 20 MPG?

Yes, I took the bumper caps off. Scuffed them lightly with 180 & 1500 sandpaper. Washed, dried and did several light coats of the Rustoleum Paint & Primer. Did the chrome grill bezel at the same time.
