    Bike should be here this either Friday or Saturday, same with a few other things but I don't think I'll get the fork till next week. Guess that means it'll be a bumpy shakedown run

    I bought a complete bike just so I can ride it now. That being said, it's 11spd, 27.5+, and rigid.

    Plans are to add some suspension, make it 12spd, go 29er, add a dropper post, and upgrade the brakes. Right now, I'd rather ride it as I build it instead of plan this huge build that would take me a while to complete.

    Nice man. Sounds like it's going to be a great bike! I'm not sure I can ride a bike without a seatpost dropper on it these days. Even my gravel bike has one!

    The bike I've been riding (fixed gear) doesn't have a doesn't have one so maybe it won't be that bad...

    I'll likely get a Fox Transfer with Kashima coating to match the front shock but I hadn't really accounted for building a bike so I'll stick it out for now. I guess there's a new Transfer coming out so I'll be on the look out for that or a closeout on the one that's currently out.

    I put a Bike Yoke on my hardtail and I don't think I can ever go back to anything else. It's so GD good.

    I haven't ridden any Bike Yokes. Just KS (hated), PNW (liked) and Reverbs (liked).

    I'll have to check out Bike Yoke though

    I didn't know a dropper post could be so amazing until my buddy got one. I've had a Reverb, KS, and Crank Brothers way back in the day, and I had issues with all of them. I've got a 9.8 on my gravel bike that seems to be doing well so far. The Bike Yoke is far and away the best. It's super smooth and if it sags then you can reset it on the spot with a 4mm allen key. But they are beaucoup bucks unfortunately. I mean, not compared to an AXS one, but still.

    As @rob1208 mentioned, I bought the Master Pull 3/4 x 25' Super Yanker. I see they only come in 20' and 30' now. Excellent product. I've used it a dozen times, easy. I bought a 10 footer, as well. Can be used as a bridle for a solid even pull, if needed. Great for use in the snow, or mud. Also bought my synthetic winch line there. They sell nice soft shackles, as well.
