    Whats up TW,

    tried to do some searching but couldn't find much on different tailgate panels. Noticed it was a bit uncomfortable sitting and inconvenient with those ridges on the tail gate. What other options are there and who has made their own? tailgate.jpg

    I have a 2nd gen but I'm cheap. Bought my own piece of flat .1" aluminum and just screwed it in to the existing cover. Works great. Also didn't want to have to change the seal on my topper.

    I keep an old surplus 72”x90” Marine Corp wool blanket in the back seat of my truck for emergencies. I think I bought it for $20? Might be a good idea for some folks

    Another vote for the Mountain Hatch. Sure it’s a little spendy but they run sales all the time and the wife likes to cook on it while camping.

    I got a rubber tailgate mat and cut it to fit. You can even use the screws that hold the back panel on to hold it down. They're around 40 bucks and makes it much softer.

    not to thread detail but I fucking wish I went to harbor freight more often instead of using my F u money to buy or consider buying crazy shit like a pro eagle jack and a tail gate skin for $$$$. Just going there yesterday made me realize how much I over spend on well marketed shit.
