Despite the bullshit that inevitably gets started in threads like this by people who cannot resist shitposting (ironically), I'd like to know how this turns out.

Maybe because they have legitimate issues and our members run them off?

No damage whatsoever. I’ll post what the dealer finds.

Actually, “what the heck” is a question with an actual question mark. Sorry that your very simple mind can’t comprehend the English language. Again, go fuck yourself.

legitimate issues and their first thought is, ay I'm going to ask a bunch of internet trolls what this problem could be instead of taking it to the dealer.

I've gotten better information on this forum than I've gotten from some dealers and Toyota in general. YMMV

Right, but if your truck is under warranty why not let the monkeys at Toyota figure it out on their dime.

Dude said he is taking it to the dealer. Worth asking on the forum if anyone has seen this before. Especially to compare with what the dealer says. If it’s not a useful thread or post to you, well, just mosey along. The OP has done nothing wrong. Gee, the concept of asking others to provide input on an error code, in a truck forum.

The dealership where I bought my truck -- Botched one accessory install, and hoped I wouldn't notice the second accessory was damaged. Happend on two different visits. Not letting them touch the truck again.

Second dealership -- Service guy's priority was covering his butt. Can't say he or the techs did anything wrong (other than pissing me off...), just not an attitude I'd trust with anything serious.

Now I don't trust Toyota dealerships for service. I'm doing my own maintenance, or paying my long-known garage if it's out of my league.

I once had a great dealer service dept for a previous car. I'm sure they're out there. My experience is they're rare.

It's a good question. But I would refrain from the F Word. It could get you banned. Just saying.

How is he supposed to contribute when he only had the truck a few weeks? I think this could be a very helpful thread if he posts a recap on
    1. What the problem was
    2. How the dealership responded
    3. How toyota applied their warranty.

    Let's be patient.

The truck has been night dropped at the local dealer. I’ll let you know what happens. I smelled a slight burning smell after dropping it off.

Wouldn't that have shown an error code sooner?

Good luck, I hope it all works out ok and just something simple. If not, at least there’s a warranty to help.

Honestly this thread is embarrassing with the amount of jerks in it. To the OP I apologize and let us know how it works out.
