    Maybe I should expand on the interchangeable seats a bit. When I bought my '96 RC M/T, the driver's seat outboard bolster was all torn up and the seat leaned driver's side just a little too much to really be comfortable. Probably from the previous owner(s) getting in and out over the years. The Passenger seat was just about pristine however. I unbolted the seats, swapped driver side and passenger side seats, and "Voilà": brand new driver's seat. A pair of CoverKing Neoprene Seat Covers later and I'm "King of the World".

    Understood. For me it was an issue of getting a bit of adjustable lift in the rear without compromising ride quality and needing to take on the added tongue weight of hauling my pop-up camper in the summer.
    The pic is before I installed the RMAS system. As you can see I have a bit of a sag in the rear and the camper was not loaded to go yet.

    It's worth noting that with the winch I chose, you cannot have a light bar in the lower bumper section without relocating the control box somewhere other than the provided brackets. I didn't bother as I have enough other lights, but had I known this I probably would have gotten the hoop on the bumper. Also the control box is mounted off to the side of the winch with the lower profile mounts Smittybilt provides.

    Nice! I did the same as well and removed the rear back rest as well and installed a water purification system.

    In my opinion, the system is fine. Nothing is going to fail. An agm battery is still better than the factory battery, and a dual agm battery setup is still better than a single agm battery setup.

    Even with our alternators only charging around 13.7-13.8 volts, it's still enough to keep the batteries from draining below safe levels, and it's still enough to be able to start your truck. For longevity of the AGM batteries though, you'll want to find a way to charge them at 14.4-14.8 volts on a regular basis (some people say once a month, I'd do every 2 weeks). AGM batteries degrade quickly when brought below 50% capacity.

    You definitely want to use a smart isolator instead of just having the 2 batteries linked together full time. Also, combine that with either solar, or a dc to dc charger and you have the peace of mind knowing at the very least your auxiliary battery will always be fully charged, which can be used to jump your starter battery if needed. For me, I just link the two batteries together using the ML ACR, and back my truck out into the driveway and the solar panels top off both batteries to full.

    Lastly, if you have a second or first gen, you can just get an inline voltage booster that will make your alt charge at a constant 14.4 volts or higher.

    Couldn’t you just install a DC to DC charge controller for $380 which should allow the batteries to be fully charged. Wouldn’t that allow for a longer battery life?

    From what I understand those are mainly designed to charge just the auxiliary battery and not your starter battery, but if they were linked together I suppose they would share some voltage. The people that have those devices seem to like them.

    I think a charge controller can be set to do both. However mine is not. My truck battery is designed to be charged only from the truck engine and only run the truck and winch. The camper battery is only designed to run the camper and can be charged three ways: shore power, solar (I have 3 panels totaling 420 watts/ and from the engine. The redarc deals with all three seamlessly

    Stock is 30.6" and the 75 size is 31.6". So a 1/2" gain in height. Don't forget to up-size the spare too.

    I was considering this as well, but was concerned about the seal between the ply and tailgate. Did you do anything special there or just wrench it down?
