Probably 90% of the 04B04 guys have dongles in transit, and don't yet have the proper credentials and authorizations to load p5f files.

    In progress.... And getting better!
This is so true. Us last minute #OGDongle traders are now having to patiently wait to transition to P5F files. Key word here is patiently.

I'm feeling the same thing on "04B04+2.0+Base+91+OL+31+-+33T" re: lugging. This one reminds me of an older tune where cruising at ~35-45 it was at ~1500k rpms/in too high of a gear and lugging. Unlike that one though this one does seem to downshift smoothly when the pedal is pushed. Still an annoyance like ConsumedBeatle01 said though. I'll give it some more miles because after reflashing to the modified I only have a total 60 miles. The drive to work and back tomorrow will be the other 40 miles and will tell me better.

Same. But low test miles. I was running 1.05 premium and felt a bunch more peppy with nice tip in. This feels a bit neutered.

i’m only 30 miles into it but i definitely noticed a much quieter startup and idle. throttle and shifting seems great.

    Thanks.

Also, this is the base settings. Primarily for modest increase in response, etc.

The big thing is is shifting improved. 3 to 4 shift, 6th, etc

Think you should select the non 31-33 file, might be better.

Stock '17. Put about 75 miles on the second 87 flash. Ran a little rough and noticed hard shifting at first. That cleared as I put more miles on it and it drove and shifted like a "normal" truck.
    Very pleased!

    My Truck: 2017 TRD OR
File I’m on: Stock truck 91 OL 31-33 file.
    Tire I’m running: Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R17 115T.
    Gas: BP 93 octane
Disclaimer: I’m not at 100 miles yet.

    My impressions:
    • Idle is so smooth now, I watched on OBD2 monitoring and the RPMs are super steady. My truck has an annoying rattle from the downpipe heat shield I’ve been trying to get taken care of under warranty to no avail, and after this update its almost gone. When the truck idles at steady 590-600 RPM there’s zero rattle. This was the most notable change in my 2.0 experience.
    • Cold start was much quicker to get to “normal” operation. I’ve gone on several short trips and the truck is much much quicker getting to its steady state.
    • “Tip in” is great on my truck. Not too jumpy like some earlier 1.5 performance files. I’m used to super sensitive pedals (owned a couple VW Golf R’s prior to this).
    • Driving on the highway the truck is great at holding speed, without dropping gears. I think it was noticeably better than my beta file, but have no data to back that up. Cruise control was handled inclines and declines without any issue whatsoever.
    • Giving it the beans this truck goes. Not as crazy as performance files in the past but the shifts at redline were super smooth, where I’ve had issues in the past.
    • Deceleration quickly I’ve had no hard shifts which is what I usually notice after clearing LV and AT values
    • I had no issues with lugging but I also drive like an asshole. Around sharp city of Chicago corners I had no problems.

Does ECT play any role in the performance of this tune when enabled/disabled?

I tried the ECT button during my drive. It does the same as it used to. It raises the shift points for the RPM's. Instead of shifting at like 1800, it'll shift at like 2300 RPM in lower gears.
