Do you think there is any significance if LV/AT is reset before or after tuning? @OVTune has mentioned in flashing instructions to do it after tuning.

was going to test it this week. 04b04.
if that was covered- just point me there. this thread goes off the rails so fast i can’t keep up.

Initial impressions - truck idle is much quieter and finds idle quicker. Awesome.

driving impressions later after tune settles.

I'll be working on getting reg keys out to everyone. Also have to sort through a bunch of orders from people who don't own a flash kit but ordered anyway....

Planning to flash over lunch and get a minimum 100 miles or more likely a full tank of 91 through the ringer before feedback but. From what I understand now coming from beta, ETC should be back to more of a "performance" tune correct? D mode is standard/base maps. S = gear lock as defined in the post (sweet). So we essentially have all 3 maps in one - which was the goal and what we've been waiting for.

Awesome work Mat, thanks for making our trucks infinitely better to drive. I'll try to restrain from hitting ETC right off the bat but no guarantees. My wife barked the tires the first time she drove it after going from stock 65,000 miles to the last beta, I got a good laugh out of that one.

Oh and one minor thing that's probably been answered already.

I plan to use Premium due to the lower price right now, but if I travel somewhere that does not have 91 (it happens in KS and in CO) if I put 87 in will it learn and de-tune down to 87 or is it stuck within 90-94 parameters on the prem tune?

If so - I can just keep my MacBook and flash kit in the car on long trips and that should be fine in the case that only 87 is around but would be neat if it could learn down to 87 from 91 if it had too. Or even 85 as seen in Colorado (I try to select 87 still when going back downhill to Kansas - at altitude 85 should be similar to 87 at no altitude from what I can tell).

Things are getting real around here.

Honestly, I do it before AND after a flash, just to be extra safe.

That makes no sense since the only learning occurs being driven. Before or after is fine

    180 miles on new 2.0 beta 04B04 91 31-33 stock gears.

No issues after flashing updated software yesterday when May fixed the OL issue with the new 91 tunes. Seems better than the 19800 in the few areas I felt it needed improvement. Better tip in, but only slightly different, which is fine with me. 3/4 quick shift is gone. Mileage is hard to tell since 30+ of my 180 were Offroad and the 100+ were I-80 at 80-85 mph with wind. Driveability is basically perfect for me so far.

Photo from the journey just for giggles. White untuned 6MT (likely tuned once VF available) and my OV tuned MGM trail limo.
