Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

My 2 cents on the whole DI/PI debate. Keep the tune at what Mat feels is the optimal for performance and endurance.

Those worried about it can tune down to stock or somewhere in between. If Mat changes back to stock, there’s no way for anyone to ‘tune up’ to what Mat feels is optimal.

Between Stock tune and Mat’s tune, we get the boundaries between OEM and aftermarket. Without Mat’s tune, we only know OEM so tuning away from OEM is an unknown.

There's a reason we are running your tune, Toyota couldn't tune....

 

For the Socal guys there is a group buy for those who want to regear . It’s on TW. Search under Stimulus Check Group Regear Package. They needed 30 guys and there are 40 now. 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma 4wd is $1700 parts and labor;2wd is $850.Nitro gears and master kit.They need 30 to leave a deposit before they order the parts which takes about a week and a half.

I'm SLIGHTLY interested in regearing to 4.88's for the future if I upgrade to 275/70r17. Where would I have gears installed in the Florida/Alabama area?

Is this vF program for the Tacoma? I couldn’t find a description, only says “vF Download”.
