Loving the Dometic 75DZW. Perfect for my family of 4 and I use it all the time on the range when hosting classes to keep water and such cold.

The only complaint I have/had was it sliding around in the bed when it was back there by itself. I decided to bite the bullet and pick up the fridge slide. The slide itself is really well built but I obviously miscalculated the total height after install.

    So close......

Figure I'll try raising the center support of the cover with some shims to get the height I need.

Dang, that's annoying. Don't forget to add weatherstripping under the shims too!

So I am ultimately contemplating the same setup and have the same worry of it not fitting. What was your outcome? Did you eventually get it to fit with dometic and slide with tonneau closing?

Soory, I never circled back on this.

No I haven't Figured out how to incorperate a slide with the 75dz. The DFG offroad was the slimest slide I could find and still raises the fridge 1" which won't let there be enough clearance for the fridge to fit under the center support of the diamondback.

So I never ordered the slide as I didn’t want to invest in something I couldn’t get to work.

I have contemplated some thicker/dense weather stripping that I can add I hopes I’d raiding the center support along with the entire diamondback.

I have also contemplated selling my diamondback and going a different route with my build. I really like the uptop truss bed rack but most bed racks will not work with the diamondback. Ones that do work eliminate the function of the DB cover. Still mulling over options.

how did you power up your fridge? @tacotowgunner

@BlackRoan I tried the weather strip idea and it looked like poop to be able to get enought height to clear.

I've got a TRD sport and I don't drive it very hard so I did a genesis offroad side by side battery kit. Since you have the TRD pro you can do the split battery set up (wish I could have gone that route).

To get power to the bed for the fridge, I picked up a 12v kit from off grid engineering and added an inline fuse. I tucked it into the storage compartment on the passenger side like @Italia234 did on his truck. I keep the power cords for the fridge in the compartment.

Sorry for the sidways picture but you get the point.

For a slide, I know that @Papadave418 made his own low profile slide and he has the same fridge/cover set up but I can't find where he shows any detailed pictures of his build.

As far as battery is concerned I was planning on going with an odyssey group 31. Just one battery I figure most of my trips are 2-4 days so didn’t think a dual was necessary.

yes I did like off Grid engineering items. Then outlet you added there is this I believe, but he added a meter now so not sure if it will fit inside the cubby vs attaching to the cubby cover like this .

Yeah looks like he changed up the fixture.

You probably have space to mount it to the back to the cubby. The hole insert pulls out when you remove the screws that are exposed in the bed.
