Thanks! I got it for less then $700 i couldn't say no on the investment on a $1k rifle. Most people don’t understand what makes the old ones good but you can tell as soon as you pick it up and it handles like the older colts

Self isolation has been helping me to further beat the chrome and add the black. Working toward a little lift and some wheels... :)

I got mine through BAM, had the FedEx guy drop one In my driveway, and BAM replaced it no questions asked. Great service and have bought several items after that as a result!

Also did an easy dashcam install front and rear with Garmin minis and a specially made dongle that is a split adapter for your rear view mirror that allows you to also tap in a USB. Great info at this thread.

That chick is all kinds of crazy. If I could remember her name, I'd tell you to look her up, but I'm sure it wouldnt take too much searching to find it.

As you probably realize now, screw the knob all the way on first then insert wires through collar. I’ve probably done this 5-10 times already so some helpful tips- snap the center console back in/installed prior to screwing in knob. I used Teflon tape a couple wraps on the threads to make sure I get it tight, screw it on pushing the boot/collar as far down as possible (don’t snag the wires) and when it’s tight in position wrap each switch set of wires together and twist (makes it easier feeding through the boot/collar). Now lift the back of the console back up (like your removing it) just enough to fit your hands/fingers and pull the twisted wires through and connect.

before screwing knob back on Mark the ect switch connector so you don’t have to guess.

Finally got them on. CMC, LCA full forward, seam smashed, and front top fender well beat in. Not rubbing on the street. They will still rub at full stuff on inner front fender well. That needs to be tubbed as I want full up travel for wheeling. Method Race 105s 17X8.5 Offset 0, Tires Kenda Klever 35X10.5X17.

Not worth a picture, but debadged the V6 chrome on the tailgate and removed the TRD OR stickers on the sides of the bed. Ordered black bumper caps, black tacoma door badges and tailgate tacoma lettering. I think it will look nice on the cement long bed.
