    Put the whole damn thing in it's not much more than the price of the bearing and if you throw in labor it's far more expensive. Because of the way it's made they are a bear to press in and out and if you are clueless you can trash the new bearing assembling it. Because the bolts are behind the flange it's the entire thing bolts and all and takes less than an hour.

    For that price, I wouldn't be expecting any decent kind of service life out of them.

    Sorry to revive an old thread, but is there a technique for installing the hub back into the spindle? Very awkward with the bolts being trapped in between... Our bearings don't drop in, is that normal? I assume that the preferred method is to tighten the bolts evenly to draw the hub assy into the spindle?

    That's how I do it. Support the weight of the hub in one hand or with your knee or something while you start the bolts so you don't risk cross threading them.

    Nice work on your restoration btw, been following that thread and not gonna lie, I am jealous :p

    Thanks, waiting for rock auto to get an Aisin clutch kit in stock so that we can put the engine and transmission back in
