Go back outside and do some more yard work! It's gonna be another great day.

 

I got a sunburn today!! I'm pretty Irish, so I mean...

But still, my first one of the year! Caught me by surprise

 

Spread the wood chips. Power washed the porch so it's ready to paint (once it dries out for a while). And then mowed my lawn (weed wack, now, and clean up with the blower after).

Another super productive day. Been outside since noon, and just came in around 5:45.

 

I got one too haha

 

Drove to Danbury this morning to meet the guys, dam Corovirus no one showed up soooooooo,
came home since the Tacoma was really warmed up,
changed the oil( Pennzoil Platinum out, Pennzoil Platinum back in) new filter, greased driveshafts.

Also helped my neighbor move a desk to the curb,
He's having a new patio put in he offered my the shrubs he's thaking out soooo hell yea.

He also said help yourself to any dirt that is dug up hell yea, as he know's that my front yard needs some fill, sooooo hell yea.

Saves me having to buy topsoil.

Well it works for me.

Is it me or are you getting more productive in life the longer you are away from your toxic workplace?

I've been offered a storage building, one of the domed tarped ones. Probably a Shelter Logic, but I don't have exact details yet. 'must be 15' tall' - so I'm guessing it's a 2 car storage building. But I need to get it taken down & removed before the new building arrives in a few weeks. Anyone up it that area (or likes a drive) interested in helping me debuild a building? I'll be watching weather to see, next weekend or following I'd guess.

Naw... work is still TOXIC, even when working from home. Especially this past Friday. Ready to throw in the towel TBH.

I've been productive this weekend to try and get my head away from the BS from Friday... but not really helping.

You gotta get out of there. The stress from that job must be killing you on some level, and I doubt it's worth it. Without another job to offer you I know its easier said than done...but if I were you all I would do is job search. Fuck, go to your nearest three competitors and just leave an application. Maybe one of their guys is gonna retire soon or move jobs. Prob not, but you never know

 

I'll help. I have nothing planned for the weekend due to the rona and I like to take a drive (not stuck home as I am still working).

very bad time to be job Hunting right now. Although a lot of people are refusing to come back to work because of huge pay for unemployment. The SBA just had to rewrite its rules because people are refusing to go back to work and take a pay cut lol.
