Why? Everything I do has a balance between being nice, but functional and I do a cost-benefit analysis. At the end of the day this is a truck I’m going to wheel and hit against things, and I cut a 14” chunk out of my bed. I want everything to look nice but within reason. I would rather spend $15 on spray paint than a couple hundred on powder.

My ProooAuto TRD Pro grill came today. Initial thoughts is it looks of good quality. Box was sturdy and it was wrapped nicely. Letters came in a separate bag. However, no screws came so I can't attached the letters to the grill. Anyone know what size screws I am supposed to use? Here are some initial pictures:

    IMG_2053.jpg

The letters look wonky because they are just resting on the grill at the moment.

Plus powder isn’t all that and a bag of chips... here’s mine after 6 months. Oxidized to all hell. Local shop. $300 wasted.

That was another thing I didn’t mention. I’ve seen a bunch of shitty powder coat jobs on other peoples trucks. The only place I would trust to do mine is mobtown since my front is coated from them and it’s some stout pc. They’re 4 hours away though, plus of course the cost and wait.

I'd take the truck to them and show them that. Maybe they'll make good on it. 6 months is way too soon to be doing that

I did. They weren’t having it. Salt on the road, ungaraged. Blah blah. Fuck them. Had it sand blasted and just spray painted it myself. Now I can touch it up myself.
