I’m waiting on dealership to call and tell me all the parts are in for my frame replacement. Pretty stoked for that

11+ only get the inside done so it’s not as messy as the 01-10. I could figure out the weight but it’s not much. Comes in 5 gallon buckets and you can get 3-4 trucks out of it.
Problem with the earlier sprays was if the frame was already rusty and they didn’t clean it before spraying it’s helped it rot out more than if it wasn’t coated. All the frames that were clean, it actually held up pretty decent on.

The way you spoke about it, it sounds like you do them? How are they cleaning out the frames now compared to before? Was the old wax black, or did it just get that way after driving a little?

Did you take off your sliders and skids before you got your first inspection? It is just a shit ton of work to get them off and then on again.

The letter I have says 2 years from the start of the program. I believe it showed up mid-late 2019. I should probably bring mine in, even though I've got nearly 2 gallons of FF in/on the frame including those boxed areas. The goal is to get 15+ years out of the truck.

Hey folks, I’ve been loving that you all are hitting the trails lately. Looking forward to some kind of meet soon.

I’m selling our TJ. It needs some maintenance but the frame is solid

Damn that’s not a bad deal... I have the go ahead from the wife if I can find a TJ like the one I had when we met 11 years ago. Electric lime green. Not easy to find.

I'd suggest calling Toyota and getting them to confirm, as I did b/c my letter was not very clear on the CRC part of it.

For the 10 it started very end of 18-very start of 19, I recall getting mine and calling to confirm the window for the CRC. I purposely waited until the spring to get it though

Honestly, I’d start with an alignment. If it’s ok, run it. Nothing that I saw looked critically damaged. Yes, you slammed the bottom pretty good but having a dented cross member or belly pan isn’t the end of the world.

I’m glad I’m not insane when I thought that when I looked at it. I’ll see what they say when I’m there with the adjuster tomorrow.
