Even your 2wd should have Zerk fittings on the rear driveshaft, especially if they haven't been replaced by Toyota. Some folks, who had u-joints replaced from the TSB (or whatever extended customer care term Toyota uses), got maintenance-free, "lifetime" u-joints. There's that pesky word again...lifetime

You have to go to the settings to reset it and set the interval you want. Pretty sure it’ll be under alarms. It’s accurate, but you have to set it.

 

Installed a tailgate assist, and this is definitely one of my best mods! Inspired by @Danny1956 and @Crom.

I think the"lifetime" crap goes with the "sealed" crap..ie no dip stick...I read somewhere awhile back this allows Toyota to not pay some environmental fee per truck ..cant say its true but kinda makes sense....(as much sense as building a truck with no oil pressure gauge.....

Finally finished "making my bed" today. @RelentlessFab bed support/tie down brackets for the front corners, Relentless quickfist mounts for my axe and shovel & Relentless hi lift mount.

 

You could also do the big cup holder mod on shifter bezel . Fits my 40oz hydra flask.

 

I like that, you just cut hole big enough for the "holder" to slide into and it rests on the lip?

 

.Yea . Just need to trim the shifter dust shield or whateva you call it lol. Youll see what I talking about .

The default IIRC is 3000mi, you'll want to adjust that and/or the service miles distance. I set service miles to 5000 and disabled the oil alarm. The manual is online, for v1.4 of the software the alarm section starts on pg51.
