Where’d you order these? I see people with them and find them online everywhere, but not a lot of reviews.

Plastidipped the badges, didnt wait long enough to start peeling so the ones I peeled last night didnt come out perfect. The ones I peeled this morning did - still ordered the blackout overlays.

Now going to attempt the fender flares

I went with the devil horn ones, and I can say I've had them on for a little over 3 1/2 years and they are still holding up as good as day one.

Never understood the whole cash back thing offered by auto manufacturers. Nothing in life is free, the cash back is just built in to the price or am I missing something. Just one more marketing strategy to dupe buyers into thinking that their getting this tremendous deal.
    Maybe I'm just tired! :notsure:
    Apologize for the rant!

When we got my sons taco, Toyota gave me a $3000 check to pay off his lease. With mileage it was like $2400. $1650 was mileage I paid Honda and two weeks later I got a check from them for $1650. The mileage fee was waved. (12000 miles over ). The price we paid for my sons Taco was sticker. Sales man said the cash was cash back. ( this was the forth Toyota I bought from him in 3 years ). So I was a little confused because I just knew that $3000 was gonna be added back into the truck Payment. But I looked over the paperwork and it was not added to the price of the truck. Go figure Either way we all were happy.

It's in there somewhere. A deaership that doesn't make money is a dealership that doesn't survive.
As with anything in life as long as your happy that's all that counts.

@Tiny's Taco... I think the nylon rollers made a significant difference, especially for the cost and little bit of time that it took to replace them. I just took each hinge off one at a time, slid the new roller in, and re-attaching the hinge to the door without doing anything else with the door or spring.

I don't know if the specific rollers that I purchased are any better than any others available. I just had a good experience with the other stuff I bought from that website. The bearing plates probably didn't make any difference in the noise level, mine were just not rolling very smoothly any longer and it was probably easier to replace them at < $10/pair than try to lube them. The bearing plates on the door where my spring broke were nearly siezed. The other 2 doors spun fine, but they were really dry. Replacing them did mean that I needed to un-tension and re-tension the torsion spring.

If you didn't see my original post with a video of the door before/after rollers; then take a look here. You can get a feel for the change in the noise level from the video, but its significant in person.
