Wrapped and installed 2013+ steering wheel. This one was off a 2013 4Runner, but it had the same controls as my 2010 and I didn't need all the newer buttons from the newer Tacoma/ 4Runner wheels

Nice, last time I launched from Shelter Island it was low tide and my KO2's couldn't grip because of the slim growth.
Switched to Cooper Maxx's the very next week and haven't had a problem since.

    Here’s a little update!

    1. Chrome delete side view mirrors
    2. Chrome delete Toyota logo on wheels
    3. Chrome delete grill
    4. Grill manufacturer badge removed
    5. New headlights
    6. Blacked out fog light shroud
    7. Replaced rails with steps

Tomorrow the BPF skid and the AVS window deflectors get installed. Just waiting for my door handle covers to arrive so my chrome delete project can finally come to an end! =] Still need to color match the cap.....

Thanks for the info gentlemen . I haven’t had any problems and the truck has been running fine. I’ve run NGK iridiums on several cars that didn’t come with iridiums out of the factory and been good. I figured with my history on them, why not use them on my taco. I’ll just check them in about 10-15k. I’ve read people gapping them incorrectly with the wrong tool and experience problems.

There’s guys on here and some other shops that sell precut hood scoop glare wraps for this reason. My bright red hood made a lot of glare, that’s why I did mine.

The Denso I's came pre-gapped. I checked each one with calipers and they were spot on.

Installed a set of Weather Tech side window deflectors, like them. According to my 10 year old Grandson and his Common Core Math, I reduced drag by10% gained 15% fuel economy, and 17.852 HP this was a 14 page diagram of his calculations. I will be take a short pause in Mods as I need to repay Wife for putting up with my car hobby for 54 years. So she get renovated back yard, new driveway, walkway to patio in back yard and house painted. At almost 78 I am just pushing the cart at the Nursery and using the CC in to pay. Honestly the place need it so I let her decide what she wants and how she wants it.
Mods being contemplated the heated, turn signal out side mirror mod from2010 RAV4 and power sliding rear window. Will do research while supervising workers from the deck out side my shop.

Just MY opinion .......but I run the recommended plugs, not sure if there is a real benefit to upgrade plugs in the stock motor...I had a 88 YJ and put in a ZZ-4 small block that was worked, cam, etc, 12.5:1 motor...spent a long time finding the right plug , that performed, and lasted....

Lemme know how the install goes. I was just trying to decide between these and the ARB ones.

I have the ARB set, ez install..works well, only issue was no ez access to the oil pan drain , but a few minutes with the plasma cutter and that went away....they are 4 years old now and still in good shape, a little pricey I thought but good quality, typical of ARB.. I do have the RCI gas tank skid and its similiar in quality to the ARB product..

Replaced my Rugged brand tonneau with a different Rugged brand tonneau.

Okay, not busted, but I wanted to replace the leather one I had. Speaking of, I now have a leather tonneau I have no idea what to do with. It needs work. I wonder if someone local wants it.

Thanks! Yea the lack of access to oil drain was my only issue with the ARB one. Lack of access to a plasma cutter is another issue haha. Glad to hear the RCI quality is good if I go that route.
