is 175 a fair price? I have seen them go for more with the springs tho.
SO, my wife pointed out as you did, have had the truck less than one month, lightbars, ditch lights, tires and rims, lift. LED everything. tomorrow bumper. SHE MAD!

I sold mine with springs and top hats for $150 with 3300 miles on them.

Might be an ok price if someone wants/needs stock UCAs

fair enough. its crazy how the stock UCAs are made, they really are nothing compared to these icons, or anything aftermarket. The driver side was a pain in the ass. passenger side was super easy. I owe wrmathis lunch.

only reason drivers was harder is becuase that was teh first side. first side always takes the longest. except with the rear and the stupid centering pin striping out.

I'm not trying to do tons of stuff or seeing how far I can push my truck. Just a rig to camp out of, get to trailheads and problem solve some bad situations.

I have 265/70/17's on the truck now with some way too wide aftermarket wheels. Planning on a lift as I already have everything. 2" is fine. Maybe I'll give these a go.

You won't catch me flexing too hard on purpose ever haha. Do those stock rims need spacers for 285's? Anyone know the backspacing of that particular wheel?

Stock wheels are +25 offset, 5" bs. 285s will need a spacer not to rub on UCA

Naa. Just getting to old to crawl around on the garage floor. Also decided it was a good idea to smash my pinkie in between the steering knuckle and UCA.

For my 3rd Gen I had to run spacers hence they spidertrax 1.25 spacers to clear my UCA. It wasn’t terrible but annoying to run them without. I’m not sure on 2nd gen but I’m sure it’s similar.

Lol, I felt like I got my ass kicked when I swapped in my add-a-leafs. Probably didn’t help when I pulled my truck off the jack and got hit by it cranking down the Ubolts. I had a couple tires and a 4”x6” under the back bumper and jacked up the diff to line it up. I put a 60” cheater pipe over my breaker bar and laid on my side and reached underneath the rear drum. I forgot I hadn’t lowered it back down on the 4”x6”. As soon as I put the hurt on it, it pulled towards me it slipped and hit my shoulder with the lug studs. The truck landed on the blocking and the drum was hovering about an inch above my elbow. Damn near pinched my arm off. I was pushing through to get done and it was like 1:30am. Definitely learned my lesson being tiered and cutting corners just stop. Scarred the shit outta me.

We started at 0900 and was through about 1445.
New shocks front and rear, UCAs, and an add a leaf
Had a run to the parts store in that.
