Hey TW members of the PNW!

Being that we're such a close knit group, I thought a tool loaning program would be helpful, especially for some of you who are on budget builds.

The idea here is that if an member has a unique tool, they'll list it here and allow other members to borrow (maybe rent) their tools. The only conditions that I would have is that tools are borrowed, taken care of and returned in like condition. If a tool is damaged or lost, the borrower would work out a replacement with the owner.

I'm open to shipping of lighter/smaller tools, as long as the borrower pays shipping both ways.

Ultimately, this only works if we respect each other's tools and time.

    Thoughts?

    Unique tools that I have:

    • SPC coil compressors (great for adjusting preload in coilovers)
    • Large breaker bars and sockets (35 mm for the axle nut)
    • Exhaust hanger remover
    • Bearing race driver set
    • True RMS multi-meter
    • 3.5 ton floor jack and (2) jack stands
    • Extensive basic tools

... And many other items, just ask if you need something in particular.

Dude, I was thinking about this exact thing for my neck of the woods (New England) a few weeks ago.

Hopefully this thread gets some good attention

Good idea - seattle's a bit far from here though, heh. Maybe just seattle side for now?

Also have a Snap-On Ethos with a bunch of crap with it. This one would probably be best for local(ish) use or TW express to established members who are doing a bunch of work or wrench meets.

    Good idea!

Ummmm, about that exhaust hanger remover. I don't know if you noticed, but it might not be in your garage. Hahahaha!

I don't have anything too spectacular, but I do have a Tactrix cable if folks want to customize settings.

I also have a nice paperweight in the shape of a HF exhaust expander.:rofl:
