New from Virginia Beach

New to TacomaWorld, but not new to Tacomas. Bought my '03 (pictured) new and my brother has a '00 (also pictured). Before my '03, I had a 1989 with 35's... will have to dig up some pictures... it was a beast and I loved it. I currently live in Virginia Beach, VA and spend lots of time in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the mountains of West Virginia. Already enjoying the forum and looking forward to buying, selling, and trading more parts as well as picking up some tips.

Found a couple photos of my 1989 with 4cyl 22RE and 35" Pro Comp tires and fiberglass cap that made it look like a 4Runner.

Nice. Yeah, I just sold my 1982 CJ-7 with 33's. Miss it. Looking to find another CJ-7 project this winter.

 

Do any of you local guys know of any good salvage yards in Hampton Roads (or northeast NC) with toyota and jeep parts?

 

I just joined today and I'm from Virginia Beach, My 01 TRD Tacoma is my 5th Toyota truck and I can't be happier. It just hit 129k and running strong. I'm debating on wheels now. I 've added a throttle body spacer, Alpine head unit with Apple compatibility with four 5 X 7" JBL speakers. Pics to follow soon.
