Received, thank you, now to figure out the installation (still waiting for my truck to arrive...)
[Update] Truck arrived this morning. Could anyone who has done this help me zero in on exactly what I'm looking for as far as the negative aspects of the accumulator? Just want to zero in on exactly how much change this produces by properly exploring the stock experience. I'm 99% sure I have stock gearing (4.24?) and tires are goodyear wrangler 265 70 R16 which I think is stock size for trd off road?

Will doing this remove "hill assist"?

    Hill assist? WTF is that?

That’s your feet. Can’t really drive a stick without both feet.

Given that I have driven in the mountains extensively with the 3rd gen 6mt TRD OR I had, the accumulator delete kit helps immensely with the hills. The delete kit cuts the slippage on the clutch that the accumulator causes. The kit will extend the life of your clutch and effectively reduce the wear on your throw out bearing.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Nope. The hill assist is using your brakes to hold you. Can confirm it still works with the kit.

I am pretty sure I know what my feet are bud. There is most definitely a "hill assist" or "hill breaking" that holds the truck for 2 seconds and prevents you from rolling. You are welcome to do a bit of reading on it since you aren't aware of this function:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/hill-start-assist-on-the-6mt.492706/

    Thanks for answering my question.

My 16 TRD OR definitely didn’t have it. Wasn’t trying to be a dick, I just come across that way.

Installed mine today. Nice to have a pre-made tube assembly that simply bolts into place.
Not a hard job, although tight working space. Accessing some of the bolts was the challenge. Bleeding the clutch was easy. (Why is it that anytime you have to bleed something it becomes so much more intimidating?)
Went on a test run. Much more positive clutch feel!

Before and after pic (w/o shield in place)

Weird. I wonder why the pro wouldnt have it. It’s not needed, and I guess I’d rather not have it, but I was surprised on my first steep hill when I first got it

The kit is designed so that the heat shield goes back on just like stock.

Yeah I mean it’s the first Manual transmission I’ve had with it but it’s pretty neat once you’ve got it. Helps teach the lady to drive also
