They should sound similar but depending on the miles they will sound different a little.
Each setup might be a little different for sound

Porting is basically matching and smoothing all surfaces that air/exhaust move over. We do port and polishing on intakes, heads, headers for our race trucks. If everything is smooth and all the inside diameters are the same, then there's no "dams" where parts come together.

Any risk of adding the supercharger to a motor with over 200k miles on it?

Really wondering about an aem fic6, are the websites that list them still able to sell them or has it been long enough that they will not have any in stock any more? Also if I am searching for them, Can I use one that is not a universal one, I do have a way to get a hold of the universal cd from my friend. Even if I had to create my own wiring harness?

Have to have the universal one. Harnesses are available on Ebay. As far as stock on a new one you'll just have to check around.

My 2.0 is the same. I ran "backwards" for a few years, it was very close to the nose cone but no contact or damage. I swapped it last weekend and it's not as lined up as before like yours is now. I think I'll leave it since the belt is in the same area on the idler pulley below it as before.

Hey, so I know that High Speed Lab has been recommended on here quite a bit for our supercharger rebuilds. Here is my review. I sent in just my rotor pack for a ceramic re-coat and new bearings on Feb 5. I was told there would be a 2-3 week turn around, but obviously Covid hit and they got delayed, understandably. I started calling them for updates two months after they received my product, and was always told "it will ship out this week". But here we are 2 months later and I am still being told its about to ship out, so I still have no idea when I will ever get my rotor pack back. I understand there are difficult circumstances right now, but a 3+ month delay isn't acceptable to me. Also they don't answer the phone consistently and you have to contact them to get updates, even though they say they will contact you. However, they did send my nose cone rebuild kit back to me at my request, and it was neatly packaged and included high quality parts. They might do a good job servicing our superchargers, but 4+ months and counting overall is not acceptable. Overall, the lack of response and timely service makes me not recommend them, and I informed them I would be posting my review on this forum.

I thought that too and thats what was implied when i sent my rotor pack in. But they then stated that they are recoating my unit, bearings, and seals and then sending it back.

I may not have one that is installed, but from a physics standpoint, would it affect the force on the other parts? It may be lighter, but being heavy does not dampen the amount of force, just far it would move? The force (in my mind when thinking about this) would not be changed so the lighter crank pulley would only help free up hp losses. Also lighter crank pulleys are go to's for jetskis for better revving up so I don't think it would really matter that much.

When going to the fic6, do you have to go for the larger injectors and fuel pump at the same time or can the injectors wait? (I understand pump and injectors should be at the same time, wondering if they are a must for fic6) Same question for spark plugs. Or am I able to wire it up and tune while understanding that I might max the injectors under boost?

worth it to do intake and/or exhaust after supercharging and installing the 7th kit? I don't want to touch it if there are no benefits which it seems like there might not be.
