Did NGK have a gap spec for our trucks with their plugs?

For My 4.0 v6 2013, I always gapped mine for 40-41. Not sure the gap on the 3.5.

I sure wish I threw hay with your guy... they would make us stack the wagon as high as they would possibly stay on there which was like 20 feet then pull it all the way back to the barn with the tractor. I was on the top of the wagon when the tractor rolled pulling the wagon over with it. The driver of the tractor got severely injured, he might not have even made it (don't know why I can't remember??) but I can tell you it was the last time I stacked hay.

I've bought plugs from the dealership. They cost the same as Vato Zone. Only difference is the dealer plugs are already gapped correctly.

Apparently my dealership wants to take advantage of people lol (go figure). I first checked in 2017 when I did my first SP change, then I went to napa and got them for $36. Been going there ever since.

Oh, we still stacked as high as it would go. But this guy was smart enough to know that you don't load tall on a side hill with a tractor with tricycle gear.

It's going to be a pricey one for me. F/R diffs, transf, transm, plugs, engine oil, and maybe an exhaust reroute if I have time.

I found a post from a few years ago. I guess the dealer plugs were actually cheaper than Advanced Auto https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/sad-day-for-my-taco.516017/#post-16300254

Spent the morning and early afternoon at Thunder Mountain (downhill park) for opening day. They sold out ticket wise (limited for covid) but it still wasnt crowded at all. Had a blast, will have to do my best to get out at least once a month this season. My brother has a season pass so hes always ready to go!

LOVE Bermuda. I'm honestly not a beach guy at all and don''t really like the ocean, but I really enjoy Bermuda. My Grandparents took my whole family for their 50th anniversary when I was very little and I've been back a handful of times with my parents and family since. We went a few years ago and had a great time. It can get pricey, so we haven't been on our own yet  But we have been thinking of planning a trip in the next year or two. The way you can fly 2-3 hours and be in a different world is VERY appealing.

Get a moped when you go, its so so fun to scoot every where, I covered the entire island twice on one with the wife on the back and we both had a blast.

This is how we did it, except I stood in the middle on the last row and stacked it up just as high as the rest on each side of me.

We had one guy in the truck bed stacking and another walking along behind the baler and tossing them up to the guy in the truck, who stacked them as high as possible working forward. You did the last row standing on the cab, lol.

Hey all, can you folks enlighten me with some 2nd gen knowledge?

My father has a 2009 DCSB automatic and the driveshaft yolk blew up. I might source him just the yolk, but I’m not sure if the driveshaft got tweaked during the break.

my question: do DCSB and ACLB automatics Share the same driveshaft? Just wanna know what my options are

    cheers!

I'm like 99% certain they do (4wd of course).

Which side broke, the short prop shaft or the longer drive shaft? Keep in mind, if you buy a replacement drive shaft, depending if you go new or used, it would come with new u-joints and a carrier bearing. If the yolk blew up, even if the shaft itself is fine, you're probably due to replace the other 2 u-joints and likely the carrier bearing as well (if they haven't been done before). The Spicer u-joints are $50/ea and the OEM carrier is $150. There are cheaper options from Moog and Dorman, but they come with headaches that don't make the savings worth it (in my opinion). When pricing out your options, you may want to consider other parts that may need to be replaced in the process.

Haha, I forgot about that stupid little fun fact about the 4.0. Are they still doing that with the 3.5?

it’s the rear driveshaft. The yolk at the rear diff gave out when my brother pulled out of the driveway.
