Finally got around to changing my spark plugs on Sunday. Went with 6 of the OEM Denso's. Hardest part was just getting crap out of the way on the driver's side. Seems to run a bit smoother now.

I'm getting ready to change plugs also, along with a brake swap as soon as parts arrive.

Added some cool D-rings I sourced on Amazon. Had to grind down the threads on the bolt to separate the washer and enlarged the holes in the D-rings to 1/2" to fit the bolts. I prefer the triangle design just preference and no real practical difference.

Also added 2 additional bedside cleats.

Acquired my Texas OHV sticker as well. Kind of late as it expires in August lol

I don't wheel that much and its never hardcore but now that i have got the look i wanted i am going to start replacing suspension parts. I have run this setup since 2015 with no issues at all.

Yeah, probably... I just get paranoid about screwing something up in the engine bay from getting it too wet.

Did something nice for the mother. It was her birthday over the weekend so I took her old canoe up to her and hooked up a little 5 hp motor to it. Something shes wanted to do since she bought it almost 40 years ago. And did a little flex in her driveway

Those look like the same or similar ones I ordered years back. For mines, I have problems with them rusting. Probably because I don't use them enough and they're always getting wet and staying wet under my bed mat. I was trying to find SS ones, but they're not easy to find in similar dimensions. Hopefully yours fairs better than mine.

@EatSleepTacos how many cans of bedliner did it take to do your truck? Did you roll or spray it on?

I used one gallon of durabak and I rolled it on. Keep in mind I used the smooth bedliner which provides more coverage per gallon. I would recommend 1.25 gallon if someone is planning on smooth and 1.5 if textured. Best to err on the side of caution.

I have a DCSB so I’d probably buy 2 gallons to be safe. Really considering doing this. How hard was it?

Good idea, I bought 2 as well. Have a whole extra gallon but will just use it on the half doors. The bummer is once you open the can, that's it. After 5 hours it becomes unusable because it activates with air. No saving it for later.

Anyways, it's not hard if you pick a color similar to your current color. Meaning you picked a light color, like white or tan or something. It's really hard to get FULL coverage without completely tearing the truck apart, so any spots you may go a little thin or miss will be hidden with similar colors. It's why I picked white bedliner for a white truck. Other than that, just take the time and follow instructions for prep and you're golden. You'll want to set aside an entire day for it, and another day to dry.

My truck is white as well, but if I’m gonna do it I’d probably go the dark grey. Gonna look into it some more thanks!

I like the idea. My folks helped a family friend clear out her property after her husband died. One of the things he salvaged from the dumpster was a Nissan NS8B OB. It sat on a stand since new and the only damage is a paint chip from getting put in the dumpster. I think I will look for a canoe to build for the motor as a birthday present next year.
