    Ahhh that explains it, I tried to read my dads 08 with the 1gr also and it was unsuccessful too. So it must be unable to read those ecus that aren’t supported

    No he meant you cannot read your ecu if you have one of Matt’s tunes on the ecu.

    Correct, you can only read the stock tune. You cannot read OVTune's, that is how he protected his IP.
