Yup, still got some... a lot actually. LOL

And yeah, they "match". They are white, but maybe a bit brighter than the stock lighting, but still pretty good.

Hello so does a stock 4 Runner 4x4 switch illuminate? I want to put it in a 2012 tacoma if it fits AND illuminate?? Also is there a particular year to order? 84724-35020??

 

The stock 4runner switch is a direct fit but does require some wiring work to get lit up. See this for the wiring "instructions". Basically you take light power from the HVAC panel lights to also light up the switch like factory.

 

My Tacoma is a 2005 4x4... I just picked up a 2012 radio bezel and 2012 Tacoma 4x4 switch, i thought i could transfer my led mod from my 05 but the 2012 switch is different inside the switch.
The photos below are the mod I did for my 05. I did the wiring mod for the 05 switch. Am I going to be able to put this switchboard into the 4 Runner switch?
Or just run the power to the 4 Runner switch? Also what year 4 Runner switch to fit 2012-15 radio bezel? They have some 4 Runner switches at my local dismantler.

 

I've never used that board from the 05 but from what I see in the instructions you should be able to use the wires that you ran for the lights to work for this modification. You'll just need to put them into the factory switch plug so when you plug it in the lights get power. The board most likely won't fit in the 4runner switch though. I believe the switch was from an 03-09.

Epoxy the ring to the switch.

Then the ring/switch combo, epoxied INTO the dash hole, correct?

I used one of those JB (or is it JD?!?!?!) Welds to do it. The one that's for plastic to metal (or vice versa), and it worked perfectly.
