Yeah, I guess I messed up jumping to conclusions with his comment, but when you see your screen name with an LOL like they're laughing at you regarding something you struggled hard with while shooting a video for people's benefit, I think you and anyone else can see why I responded like I did. Did I need to be as big of an asshole? Probably not.

My problem is I frequent Toyota Enthusiast Facebook pages where shit-talking is very big. This forum for the most part has been very mellow with shit-talking, but I did experience some when I drove up a few years ago and the guy who did the shit-talking was blasted by quite a few guys.

Anyways, I guess I screwed up a bit but it's not like I was being a jerk just because. I really thought the guy was laughing at me and that was the reason for my strong response. I guess I've blabbed enough. Happy Wrenching and thanks for supporting me and my channel.

I’ve referred to your videos a lot and appreciate them for what they are. You can walk someone with very limited knowledge through a lot of jobs. At my stage, it can be a little bit frustrating because of how dumbed down they are if I’m trying to find something quickly that I’m struggling with. But, none the less, I enjoy them and want to say thanks for your help on my projects! Don’t let the assholes discourage you from making good content that helps the rest of us out!

Hey man, we all overreact sometime in someway. Part of being hooman. What's sets some apart, is being man enough to say 'yeah I guess I screwed up'. Seriously. I can't believe how few are willing to step up like that. Either way, glad you're around and keep it up hombre.

And what you said about the other Toyota forums or message boards IS EXACTLY WHY I STAY AROUND HERE. :D

Dude, you should see what some a-holes have said on our channel. I've blocked over 40 people from our channel so I won't see their trolling a-hole comments anymore. I've even got guys who subscribe to our channel just so they can leave a thumbs down to everything we post. I know this because we'll upload a long video, say 45 minutes long, and we'll get a thumbs down within the first 5 minutes. This tells me they didn't even watch the video. Safe to say, I've dealt with a fair amount of shit-talking since starting this channel over 4 years ago. Luckily the high percentage is very positive. I just don't get the mindset of people needing to tear down other people's efforts, especially when it comes from a place of wanting to help people out. I put an incredible amount of time into our channel. It's not just the filming and editing of the videos either. I try to answer every question that people ask on our videos and I try to acknowledge every comment. I also get asked a bunch of questions on Facebook and I contribute on this forum, T4R.org, IH8MUD and quite a few Facebook pages. So, I guess you can say I'm doing my fair share in this community of Toyota Truck and SUV Enthusiasts.

No, not me. That is on my long range list of things still to do, but have made no effort.

For sure, I figured it was simply knee jerk type of reaction due to all the BS out there. I'll never understand folks that need to tear down others. I genuinely believe that stuff is due to low self esteem issues and stuff like that. How else can that behavior be explained???

Regardless, mano a mano, you and yours built a great reputation and channel. None of the haters will be able to sink it. I promise. Don't sink to the level of those bad people man. That's not you. I can tell who you are in your vids and comments and help. Fortunately in the Toyota groups, generally speaking, the folks are good people that love supporting others who share the passion.
People prolly think I'm a butt kisser, but if you've been around long enough, I'm the same way with everyone. From the noobs to the Yota studs like yourself.
In today's crazy world, people just need to be reminded how capable they truly are if they so desire to be.
You've built something up so far above the haters/losers, if I was in your shoes I wouldn't even acknowledge them. It's pointless. They're drowned out by the praise and good that come from doing what you do.
I know I'm long winded at times. I want to make sure to get through to you man:D:cool:

I got sick of looking at my ugly banged up wheels so I repainted them in a lovely shade of FJ40.
