Been doing some reading in here and from what I gather a truck with only 4k miles on it that has never been offroad shouldnt have any creaking sounds coming from the front end? Still under warranty obviously and I think I need to mention this to the dealership.. I'm thinking something isnt torqued to spec. or is dry?? Not a one off. it happens reliably at under 5mph speed, making turns. How do I go about letting them know there is an issue without them trying to blow me off.. which seems par for the course with warranty repair techs in this area.

    Thanks in advance.

I have this exact issue with my 2019 started a while back with stock suspension changed it and it’s still making the noise a couple people mention the radiator mounts on my next service I will point this out to them but I feel that they’ll just blame the aftermarket suspension

Almost sounds like a rod-end. Our cars always made a clunking sound when going slow and turning but they were worn with 80k. I learned a tip years ago from the Motor Week show, if you hear a squeak on the suspension, motor mounts, steering components etc. try spraying the hard rubber with brake fluid(dot 3 or whatever because it has an additive to prevent the rubber seals on the calipers from rotting). I also put brake fluid on a rag and rub it on all the door seals to keep them pliable and soft. I first experimented with it on my snowmobile track and it worked great. The track stayed soft and flexible for years. So now when I hear a squeak I spray the area of the noise. I have done my 19 taco last when I bought it. Do Not spray on paint!

I had the same and did a lot of experimentation until I found that some of the suspension parts where squeeking. WD-40d them about 4 months ago and no squeeking.

Toyotas seem to be notorious for this. I had a '96 Tacoma 4x4 that squeaked in the rear I used WD-40 and the squeaking would go away. If seemed to happen after going down dusty or sandy roads. The bushings would get dry and squeak.

My 2019 MT OR started to creak while taking off in 1st from a stop. I thought it might be the clutch pedal assembly but it doesn't creak otherwise. It sounds like something on the front drivers side. I'm going to mention it at my 15K service along with the Qi rubber pad bubbling up.

Did that 5000 miles ago but I don't think that comes into play unless the wheels are turned maximum L or R.

Pretty much it, right or left full turn, but it will creak like crazy if dry metal on metal.

According to the local toyota dealership, the dealership i bought the truck from (used with 4k miles on it) did the 5k service at 3k and my toyota care is up in october (2018 sr5 v6 dclb). They then said I can do my 15k service now even though im still under 5k miles on a 2018 and none of this was discussed when thepurchase was made.. I know I know youre all shocked.. The whole thing seems like a waste of time and a shit show...considering the manner in which they played up the fact that the truck still hsd a factory warranty.... its almost as if its toyotas job to keep you from using any warranty service at all... they seem like a skeptical/shady insurance company more than a car company focused on customer service.
Whatever.. They are supposed to have a professional bullshitter call me back and explain to me how I have no right to warranty service because reasons.. I guess one of the good bs'ers werent available when I originally contacted them. Not impressed.
