Pretty simple, wife makes them but whipped cream cheese. Sliced green onions, crispy bacon crumbled, salt and pepper to taste. Mix ingredients, Hollow out the mushroom removing stem, put about 1 tbs per mushroom depending on size. Top with parmesan if you want, air fry 4-6 minutes or till the top gets browned depending on size. The bigger ones do leak water so put a tray below if you can. I can estimate quantites if you want

Awesome! I just have to get to the store and buy some more mushrooms and I’m going to try these.
No, you don’t need to estimate the quantities but thanks. I’ll play around with what you’ve listed.

Well... I made the tortillas... Definitely gonna need some practice at that...

    IMG_20200702_115053865.jpg

Cooked them on the griddle that I have, the instructions just say 30 seconds and flip 3 times ...

I amwondering if anyone has a suggested temp to set the electric griddle at?

The instructions also say squish them into 5 inch diameter, but they seemed super thin and 4 inches held together better.

Also, I know you're supposed to use plastic on the tortilla press, but how do you keep it from sticking to the plastic? I ended up cutting down down wax paper for each one.. good thing that stuff is cheap AF!! Haha

Any other tips/hints/suggestions on homemade tortillas?!?

Water between the press and plastic then spray pam or some thing similar where the tortilla goes or touches the masa. They kinda peel off rather than fall off. On a stove i use med high setting, can use a large pan for the same thing, just takes time i usually do 1 min one side 30-45 seconds on opposite

I was wondering about spraying the plastic.. that was my next plan if the wax paper hadn't worked out.

The Electric Griddle goes up to 400F but that would burn them right quick I suspect.. what's your thoughts on say 300F?

And the whole peeling thing.. I understand that.. when I squished them out to 5 inches tho the edge was so thin it just wasn't working.

I need to design a tortilla press with a stop on it! Hahaha

300°prob work 400° is too high. I do a test one, should slightly brown on one side in 1 minute

Maybe parchment paper instead of wax paper? I switched a few years ago and have been happier with the results of parchment.

Are they supposed to puff up like in the video you posted? Cause mine didn't?

    Thank you for the idea!
