Hey all, new to the group. I've been a 4runner guy (had a gen1 Tacoma years ago), but just added a new Tacoma to the stable. I've usually made my own winch bumpers, but not sure I want to dive into a gen3 taco prototype yet (what's up with all that space between the grill and radiator?.. I could fab a BBQ in there!) So I'm looking at slimline center 'cut-ins' like SOS and C-4 have and maybe welding in some wings to protect the outer corners, or at least the underside of them. I remember that there was a company that sold that kind of center slimline, but had bolt on 'wings' that required some cut away. Now I cant remember or find them. Any of you now who that was? Thanks.

Customer pics are hard to come by because this item is pretty new, I think they started selling it on their website in mid March. With the usual long lead times and production delays due to covid, it might be a while until customers get theirs. I placed an order for mine on April 1st and the latest update last month is “material received”. I’d be surprised if I receive mine before September 1st 2020.

Other options is to get their Armageddon Armor, which is a DIY kit and have someone local weld it up for you.

Yeah they sell a diy kit. Probably faster and if you're used to Welding your own bumpers, might not be bad. I have the SSO but not the wings, yet :fingerscrossed:

Did you get rid of the 4runner? Out of curiosity, what made you switch to the taco?
